Fraud in Nonprofit Finance Departments
Fraud is a concern for nonprofit organizations. According to the 2016 Nonprofit Finance Study, only 38 percent of respondents say members of their management and board of directors are very educated on how to avoid fraud, and 34 percent say their organization undertakes actions that put it at risk for fraud.
